デトロイトジャケットは、1954年に「ジッパージャケット」として登場しました。工場や建設現場で働く人々が、腰を曲げて作業する際に邪魔にならないよう、着丈を短く設計したのが始まりです。
特徴的なディテール
頑丈なコットンダック生地、肌触りが良く汚れが目立ちにくいコーデュロイの襟、そして左胸のジッパーポケットが象徴的です。無骨なワークウェアながら、着るとすっきり見える計算されたシルエットが魅力です。
