Vintage College Ring-Cameo Top [HERFF JONES 10kt Gold] [1938s-] Hematite Stone

1938 vintage class ring. From the First World War to the late 20s and 30s, which was hit by the Great Depression, the college ring of this age is often made of silver or brass, and gold individuals are rarely seen. This is a very rare individual with a cameo on the top that I have never seen before. The side engraving and openwork are elegantly constructed with the taste of Art Deco, and the top is made of hematite (iron ore), which is often used for mens cameo rings, and has a mannish look that is not too feminine.
